Options
Launch Options Dialog
You can customize how the Touchpoint Gallery works by doing one of the following:

- Click on the Options button on the main screen
- Click on the Tools drop down menu and select Options
Startup Options
You can customize how the Touchpoint Gallery behaves when it starts by changing the Startup Options.
If you would the Touchpoint Gallery to show the loading screen everytime it starts, check the box beside Show startup screen .
If you would like to have the Touchpoint Gallery Systray automatically load whenever Windows starts, check the box beside Automatically run Touchpoint Gallery Systray when Windows starts. The Touchpoint Gallery can not be used to automatically change your desktop Wallpaper, unless the Touchpoint Gallery Systray is running. To guarantee the best overal experience, it is recommended that you always keep this option selected.
Graphics Options
You can customize how the Touchpoint Gallery displays your Galleries by changing the Graphics Options. These options can have an effect on the overall performance and the quality of the graphics that you see.
You can change the overall quality of the graphics that are displayed when you are viewing a Gallery. You can improve the overall performance of Touchpoint Gallery by selecting Low and reducing your graphics quality. By selecting Medium as your graphics quality, you will have the best balance of graphics quality and overall performance. If you would like to display the highest quality graphics, select High for your graphics quality.
If you would like your Picture Sources to alwasy be displayed at the highest quality and not be affected by the graphics quality settings, check the box beside Always display Picture Sources at high quality.
If you would like improve the quality of the graphics even more, you can check the box next to Enhance graphics quality by softening jagged edges (anti-aliasing).
If you find that when you are viewing a Gallery, the movement does not seem smooth and the graphics appear to be 'tearing', then click the box next to Synchronize frame rate to refresh rate for smoother movement (v-sync).
Internet Picture Sources Options
You can customize how the Touchpoint Gallery downloads picures from Internet Picture Source by changing the Internet Picture Sources Options .
If you have a slow Internet Connection, you can have the Touchpoint Gallery download the default size images from your Internet Picture Sources by selecting Default size (improves performance). If download speed is not an issue for you and you would like to display the highest quality pictures within your Gallery, select Largest available size (best quality).
To display pictures from Internet Picture Sources, Touchpoint Gallery must first download the pictures to a temporary folder. These files can end up taking up quite a bit of storage space, and can be deleted at anytime by clicking on the Delete Files button.
